Example models include the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben and the Seattle Space Needle. Throughout the week, participants will strengthen and apply problem-solving skills in order to model, test, evaluate and modify their architectural models. Practical problems will be solved using science and technology concepts. With hands-on experience, participants will be exposed to careers that involve both technology and engineering.
Rube Goldberg | Session I: June 28 – July 2 and Session V: July 26 – 30
Boys and girls entering Grades 5 – 10
Discover your inner engineer and kick your brain into high gear as you create an original Rube Goldberg contraption of your own. This week-long summer program will develop your problem-solving skills while you navigate through the engineering and design process. Tinker with wrecking balls, pulleys, springs, gears and more to create the chain reaction you need!
Gravity Rides! | Session II: July 6 – 9 (There will be no camp Monday, July 5) and Session IV: July 19 - 23
